Doug Hoffman
Douglas L. Hoffman, 59, is an accountant and candidate for Representative from the 23rd Congressional District.
Hoffman graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1973 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. In 1976, Hoffman earned his Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Connecticut and his certification as a Certified Public Accountant in 1977.
Doug and his wife, Carol Torrance, live in Lake Placid with three children.

Bill Owens
William Lewis "Bill" Owens, 60, the United States Air Force retiree is a Plattsburg attorney and Democratic and Working Families Party nominee for the 23rd Congressional District.
Owens graduated Manhattan College in 1971 with a degree in business administration and is a 1974 graduate of Fordham University School of Law.
Bill and his wife, Jane, have three children.
