St. Lawrence University junior Morgan Smith was named the Liberty League men’s soccer offensive performer of the week for the week ending Monday.

Smith, from Saratoga Springs, supplied four points, including a goal and an assist in Friday’s 5-2 win over SUNY Cortland, en route to helping the host Saints claim the Lotto Classic tournament title.

Clarkson University sophomore goalkeeper Michael King won defensive player of the week honors, while freshman forward Kevin Calnan took rookie of the week honors for the Golden Knights.

Clarkson sophomore Victoria Hathaway was selected as women’s cross country performer of the week after placing second in the Kangaroo Classic Invitational Saturday at SUNY Canton. The Golden Knights freshman A.J. Beers’s second-place finish at SUNY Canton earned him men’s cross country rookie of the week honors.

Other league honor roll recipients were SLU’s Adriana Morra and Katie Stames (women’s soccer) and Clarkson’s Kirstie Shurie (volleyball).
