WATERTOWN — The North Country Procurement Technical Assistance Center will offer its services for another year after receiving new funding from the Department of Defense.
The new funding was confirmed July 23. The amount of funding was not disclosed.
The center, in partnership with the Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce, aids hundreds of businesses in Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence, Oswego, Oneida, Onondaga, Franklin, Clinton, Essex, Herkimer and Hamilton counties with government contracting.
Over the last 12 months, clients have reported 287 federal contracts with award values totaling more than $33.8 million.
