After reaching the NCAA Division III Tournament the last two seasons, including an appearance in the sweet 16 last year, the St. Lawrence University men's soccer team has lofty expectations heading into the 2014 season. SLU finished 17-3-2 overall last season and went 7-1 in the Liberty League. The Saints return nearly every key performer from last season, including goalie Aaron Costello, who set a school record with 16 shutouts last season. Here are conversations with Saints head coach Bob Durocher, who guided the program to a national title in 1999 and a final four appearance in 2002, as well as Costello.
