Two brothers who were raised in Canton, but now reside near Colton, are making a name for themselves in the hockey community.
Jordan Greenway, a 17-year-old forward, and James Greenway, a 16-year-old defenseman, are both part of the United States National Development Program. Both brothers are 6-foot-4.
Jordan, who has already committed to Boston University for next season, will play for the U.S. Under-18 team this season. He's also a first-round pick by Plymouth in the major junior Ontario Hockey League.
Jordan was with the Under-17 team a year ago and scored 16 goals with 25 assists in 52 games. He played three seasons for the Shattuck St. Mary's Prep School in Minnesota and is projected to be a first or second-round pick in the 2015 National Hockey League Draft.
James, who will play for the Under-17 team this season, played one year for Potsdam High School and has spent the past two years at Shattuck St. Mary's.
