UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - HAMMOND - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Kiel J. Rourke, 32, of Hogansburg with unlawful possession of marijuana following a stop at 3 p.m. Monday on state Route 37 in the town of Hammond.
FAILURE TO REGISTER - BRASHER - Massena-based state police charged Mickey P. Reyome, 53, of Brasher with a misdemeanor count of failure to register as a sex offender - prior conviction. The arrest was made at 10:52 a.m. Tuesday at 45 West Cotter Road, Brasher Falls. Reyome is classified as a Level 1 sex offender, the classification for sex offenders viewed as the lowest risk to commit another sex crime. He was convicted of first-degree sexual abuse in 2001 in St. Lawrence County.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Emmet J. Shaul, 18, of Oswegatchie with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of alcohol by a person less than 21 and ticketed him for using a mobile device while operating a motor vehicle at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on Route 11 in the town of Canton.
GRAND LARCENY-PITCAIRN — State police on Tuesday charged Elizabeth J. Bush, 32, of Harrisville, with fourth-degree grand larceny. Troopers said that while Ms. Bush was employed at the Nice N Easy on Route 3, she stole food, cash, merchandise, and lottery tickets totaling more than $1,300.
She was issued an appearance ticket for Pitcairn Town Court.
