WATERTOWN — City police are investigating the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy that took place early Friday.
Police estimated the stabbing took place between 2 and 3 a.m. on State Street, near its intersection with William and High streets. They added that the unnamed victim did not immediately seek treatment, reporting it Friday morning when he walked into Watertown High School.
It is unclear whether he is a student there.
Police said they were called to Samaritan Medical Center about the stabbing at 8:11 a.m.
Police listed the teen’s condition as “stable.”
