A pair of wounded combat veterans who met at Fort Drum were married Friday in a ceremony in Massachusetts, aided by donations from multiple businesses.

According to the Boston Globe, Rachel Blydenburgh and Mark Leonard met through the post’s Warriors in Transition Battalion in 2010 while recovering from injuries suffered in Afghanistan. Ms. Blydenburgh suffered disc and nerve damage to her neck while putting on her protective gear, while Mr. Leonard suffered a neck injury after a vehicle rollover.

The ceremony at the Renaissance golf club, in Haverhill, Mass., was donated by the club through the national Wounded Warrior Project, and had a Great Gatsby theme. Other services including dresses, a DJ, invitations, flowers, invitations, hair styling, the wedding cake and photo/video services were also donated.
