FORT DRUM — The post’s Guthrie Ambulatory Health Care Clinic closed for a few hours Monday after a gas line was ruptured.
Post officials said the rupture happened about 11:30 a.m., as crews completed construction work on Mount Belvedere Boulevard between the clinic and a complex for the Warriors in Transition Battalion across the street. As crews worked to repair the leak, appointments for the day were canceled. The leak was stopped about 3:40 p.m. Monday. Appointments returned as scheduled today.
