Five motorists accused of drunken driving

The following motorists are accused of driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

Amy K. Alteri, 48, Watertown, was charged by state police with aggravated DWI at 1:46 a.m. Monday on Route 12 in the town of Pamelia. Police said the suspect was pulled over because she was using a cellphone. Her blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, they said. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes proof of intoxication. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.

James R. Madjerick, 26, of 316 S. Rutland St., was charged by city police at 7:14 p.m. Saturday with aggravated DWI. He was arrested at 300 S. Rutland St. and had a 0.34 percent BAC, police said.

Joseph M. Endres, 41, of 23195 White Road, Watertown, was charged by city police at 8:46 p.m. Sunday with a DWI-third offense, a class D felony. Police said he was pulled over on the 700 block of West Main Street and had a BAC of 0.17 percent. He had two prior DWI convictions within the preceding 10 years, they said.

Cynthia M. Fultz, 32, of 95131 Desoto Drive, Fort Drum, was charged by city police at 2:42 a.m. Sunday at 900 Arsenal St., Watertown. She had a BAC of 0.12 percent, police said.

Angel M. Diaz-Roman, 31, of 1815 Olmsted Drive, was charged by city police at 2:48 a.m. Sunday at 1 Public Square. Police did not report a BAC.
