WATERTOWN — City police charged Cory T. Nelson, 20, Beaver Falls, with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance Monday after he allegedly possessed Suboxone.

Police said that Mr. Nelson carried a sealed, unopened package of the painkiller.

Charged at 3:26 p.m. on the 400 block of Brainard Street, he was processed at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released with an appearance ticket for City Court.
