The 2014 Northern Athletic Conference baseball season officially came to a close on Tuesday with the annual Jim Pinkerton Senior Classic staged at SLU’s Tom Fay Field in Canton.

The team coached by Potsdam’s Chris Donah and Gouverneur’s Mike Bason outlasted the one coached by Heuvelton’s Dave Steele and Logan Ladouceur 7-5 after having built a 6-1 lead through four innings. Seniors turning out for one final high school game included; Will Coleman, Ben Miller and Trevor Keleher of Potsdam, Kris Tabor, Bradley Francis and David Barney of St. Lawrence Central, Hermon-DeKalb’s Cameron Hantz, Braidan Ramos, Nick Ashley and Tom Andrews of Gouverneur, Louis Goodrow of St. Regis Falls, Kyler MacIntire of Norwood-Norfolk, Hammond’s Collin Martin, Jordan Yando and Austin Lamay of Franklin Academy, Jacob St. Mary of Brushton-Moira, Zack Brock and Jacob Barney of Madrid-Waddington, Joe McDonell, Dylan Liscum, Jack Palmer and Aidan Scagel of Heuvelton, Kaden Dandrow, Derek Clark and Jordan Davis of Edwards-Knox, Mike Burns of Parishville-Hopkinton, Ryan Hartle of Harrisville and Alex Arduine of Lisbon.
