PORT LEYDEN — Shawn G. Holloway, 35, of 8032 Moose River Road, and Brian A. Nagy, 24, of 3411 North Pearl St., were charged with second-degree harassment in connection with a domestic incident on June 2, according to police. Mr. Holloway also was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

Police said that Mr. Nagy got into a fight with his sister, who was not named, over a phone and held her to the ground and struck her head repeatedly against the floor. Mr. Holloway, the victim’s boyfriend, then followed the victim into a bedroom and began wrestling with her for control of the phone before falling to the floor, pulling her hair and choking her.

Mr. Holloway was arrested on June 2 and taken to the Lewis County jail, Lowville, where he was held on $1,000 bail. Mr. Nagy was arrested Sunday. Both men were issued appearance tickets for Lyonsdale Town Court.
