NORWOOD — R.J. Bendt went 2-for-3, including a double, to lead the Norwood-Norfolk baseball team to a 14-3 win over Tupper Lake in an Northern Athletic Conference East Division game on Wednesday.

Peter Jarvis and Kyler MacIntire each singled and doubled for the Flyers (8-3).

Tupper Lake fell to 5-5.

HAMMOND 5-14, CLIFTON-FINE 4-16

Collin Martin struck out nine in the opening game of a West Division doubleheader to lead Hammond (1-8) past the Eagles in Star Lake. Clifton-Fine (3-8) answered with a win in game two.

Brock Tulley lined three hits and Nick Jewitt added two for Hammond in the opener.

Austin Locked lined three hits for the Eagles in game two. Tulley and Payton Frisina each went 4-for-4 for Hammond in game two.

POTSDAM 14, GOUVERNEUR 4

Trevor Keleher struck out eight and went 4-for-5, driving in four runs, to lead Potsdam past the Wildcats (1-8) in a Central Division game in Gouverneur.

Chris Prosper also went 4-for-5 for Potsdam (9-1, 9-0) and Will Coleman hit a two-run home run.

CANTON 14, SALMON RIVER 10

The Golden Bears used an eight-run fourth inning to pull away from Salmon River (1-9) in a Central Division game in Canton.

Jake Corbine went 4-for-5 and Avery Slack went 3-for-4 for Canton (2-7). Francesco Palumbo lined two hits.

MASSENA 5, PERU 4

Tyler Haas struck out two as Massena (8-1) defeated Section 7’s Indians in a nonleague game in Peru.

Bailey Hewlett drove in three runs for Massena. Isaiah Dillabough, Isaac Ward, Josh Manley, Devin Paige and Jacob Vierno each lined two hits.
