OGDENSBURG — Alissa McCauley threw a one-hitter to lead the Malone softball team to a 21-0 win over Ogdensburg Free Academy in an Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game on Wednesday.

Morgan Fountain tallied four hits for the Huskies (11-2, 9-0), including a triple. Whitney Legacy homered while Brooke Collins, Emily Marshall, Janelle Heden and Erin McDonald all finished with two hits.

The Blue Devils fell to 6-3, 6-3.

CANTON 9, SALMON RIVER 0

Beth Pearson struck out seven as the Golden Bears shut out Salmon River (1-9) in a Central Division game in Canton.

Kalie Frank went 3-for-3 for Canton (5-4) and Pearson was 2-for-3. Chantel Rose and Cianna Wilmart each produced two hits.

GOUVERNEUR 24, POTSDAM 4

The Wildcats built an 11-3 lead over Potsdam (0-9) after two innings en route to win a Central Division game in Gouverneur.

Mackenzie Rowe and Taylor Andrews led Gouverneur (4-5) with four-hit games. Alysia Whitton picked up three hits, including two triples.

NORWOOD-NORFOLK 22, TUPPER LAKE 9

The Flyers scored 14 runs in the second inning to beat Tupper Lake (2-8) in an East Division game in Norwood.

Cora Young led the Flyers (9-4, 8-4) with two hits.

HAMMOND 20-13, CLIFTOn-FINE 0-11

Mikayla Horton threw a five-inning no-hitter in the opener of a West Division doubleheader to lead Hammond to a sweep of the Eagles (0-11) in Star Lake.

Emily Bush lined three hits in the opener for Hammond (7-3).

Mariah Simons picked up three hits in the second game, and Horton and Taylor Bowman each lined two.

ST. LAWRENCE 14, MASSENA 1

Lindsey Thayer struck out nine to lead St. Lawrence Central past the Red Raiders (3-8) in a nonleague game in Massena.

Thayer also went 5-for-5 for the Larries (14-0), including a double and triple. Haleigh Agans and Chelsea Savage also lined two hits.
