WATERTOWN State police charged two Adams men with one count of third-degree burglary, a class D felony, after the two stole more than $5,000 worth of tools and antiques from a barn in Pamelia, police said.
Brandon M. Roach, 20 and Christopher L. Barkley, 23, both of 10292 County Route 77, were arrested at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the state police barracks in Pamelia.
Police said the two men stole the items about 6:20 p.m. May 4 out of a barn at 22320 Brown Road. So far, welding torches and multiple buckets of paint have been recovered.
The property is owned by Frederick F. Schweitzer, according to Jefferson County property records.
They were arraigned in Pamelia Town Court and released on their own recognizance.
