WATERTOWN Three people are expected to be charged with drug-related offenses after police executed a search warrant Wednesday at 110 N. Indiana Ave.
City police and Jefferson County sheriffs deputies first went to the house about 5 p.m. A firefighter sawed open a safe in front of the house, revealing 10 bags of heroin, according to a Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force investigator at the scene. Other drug paraphernalia was found at the residence.
The investigator said he expected that Al A. Givans, 32, Bridgeport, Conn., will be charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Two residents at the address, Ashley A. Fulmer and Anthony J. Ramirez, are likely to be charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, the investigator said. Other charges may be considered; more details are expected today.
Law enforcement first investigated the house after receiving tips from neighbors about suspicious activity.
