POTSDAM — All Franklin and St. Lawrence County retired educators and their guests are cordially invited to attend the spring 2014 meeting of the Northern Zone of the New York State Retired Teachers Association Wednesday at the Potsdam Town and Country Club (Route 56 between Potsdam and Hannawa Falls).

NYSRTA has a long history of supporting retired educators, their families and their communities through professional, social, political and charitable activities on the local and state levels.

William Locke, a retired teacher/administrator from the Cortland area, will present a cabaret-style performance of music and trivia; his impressive talent has delighted many audiences.

The agenda includes morning refreshments and registration at 9 a.m., a business meeting at 9:30 a.m., Mr. Locke’s program at 11 a.m. and lunch at noon for a cost of $18 per person (includes tax and tip.) Entree choices are hot roast beef or grilled chicken sandwich or pasta primavera; please indicate your choice(s) and your name(s), address, phone number, and email address in your response. Checks may be made payable to NYSRTA-Northern Zone and sent with reservations to Donna Finnerty, 168 Rowley St., Gouverneur, N.Y., 13642. New members are always welcome. For reservations or membership information, call Donna at 528-3482 or Gayla LePage at (518)483-5014.
