“We are fortunate to have Dr. Scott join our medical team,” said Dr. Pisaniello, clinic medical director. “His extensive experience will be an asset to our facility and will certainly benefit our patients.”

Dr. Scott attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, and completed a family practice internship and residency at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He served as a staff physician in various family practice clinics, including the 39th Tactical Support Wing, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey; 52nd Medical Group, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany; 59th Air Transportable Hospital, Operation Sea Signal, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; chief, Family Practice Services, 56th Medical Group, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.; staff physician, Benefis Convenience Care, Great Falls, Mont., and Canal Park Family Medicine, Macedon.

For the past 10 years, he has seen patients at Guthrie Family Practice Clinic, Fort Drum.

Dr. Scott, whose parents are from Carthage and Natural Bridge, lives in Copenhagen. He is an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

New patients are welcome and most insurances are accepted. Hours of operation at the center, 9732 Route 12, are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
