WATERTOWN An Adams man has been indicted on allegations that he stabbed another man in the neck during a bar fight in Watertown in February.
Kenneth D. Lance Jr., 25, is charged with first- and second-degree assault, second-degree menacing, second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
The charges were contained in a grand jury indictment handed up Monday in Jefferson County Court.
It is alleged that he stabbed Kevin M. Smith, Watertown, in the neck with a knife Feb. 27 at First Round bar, 498 Factory St. In addition to a cut to his neck, Mr. Smith suffered tears to his esophagus and larynx, according to the indictment.
