OGDENSBURG — The Massena girls lacrosse team didn’t allow a goal until the second half and went on to defeat Ogdensburg Free Academy 18-3 in an Northern Athletic Conference game on Thursday.

Trysten Burns led the Red Raiders (5-2 overall, 4-1 division) with four goals and one assist. Jacelyn Burns scored three goals with anassist, and Shannon Casey and Courtney Manley each scored two goals with two assists.

Krysten Stone and Ashlyn Olsen each scored two goals for Massena. Meagan Morgan and Devin Kelly added single goals.

Sky Hoover led OFA (2-6, 1-4) with two goals and Brooke Badlam also scored. Mackenzie Bresett assisted on every goal for OFA.

HEUVELTON 9, NORTHWOOD PREP 4

Jackie Sovie scored four goals to send the Bulldogs (5-5) past Northwood Prep in a nonleague game in Heuvelton.

Olivia St. Pierre scored two goals, and Alex Steele and Kylie Piercey added single goals.

BOYS LACROSSE

CANTON 19, COLTON-PIERREPONT 3

Peyton VanBibber, Lance Pierre and Cody Moore each scored three goals as the Golden Bears (7-1, 7-0) defeated Colton-Pierrepont at SUNY Canton.

Gage Emerson, Tanner Sanderson and Dane Ames scored two goals, and Josh Huaitt added one goal and three assists.

Ethan Knight, Jon Porter and Scott Boyce scored for the Colts (0-8).

SOFTBALL

HEUVELTON 9, EDWARDS-KNOX 1

Alexis Weidner threw a no-hitter and struck out 12 to lead the Bulldogs past Edwards-Knox (2-1) in a West Division game in Heuvelton.

Paige McCormick went 2-for-3, including a two-run home run for the Bulldogs (5-0). Shelby Williams tallied three hits and drove in three runs. Weidner, Nathalie Barr and Logan Tallman each added two hits.

COLTON-PIERREPONT 18, PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 3

Andrea Aldous went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs as the Colts (5-0) defeated Parishville-Hopkinton in an East Division game in South Colton.

Morgan Doyle, Eve Whalen and Sabrina Johnson each lined two hits for Colton-Pierrepont. Miranda Collins and Sara Coles led the Panthers (1-2) with two-hit efforts.

ST. LAWRENCE 28, TUPPER LAKE 1

Lindsey Thayer struck out 10 and went 3-for-3, including a double and triple, to lead the Larries past Tupper Lake (0-3) in an East Division game in Brasher Falls.

Hailee Weegar and Bailee Gauthier each produced four hits for the Larries (5-0).

Chelsea Savage and Haleigh Agans each lined three hits, and Morgan Ramsdell and Natasha Barnhart picked up two hits.

BASEBALL

HARRISVILLE 12, MORRISTOWN 5

Justin Bracket homered, doubled, singled and drove in four runs to send the Pirates (4-0) past Morristown in a West Division contest in Harrisville.

Nate Weaver struck out 12 for the Pirates. Kevin Kapfer, Justin Hartle and Bryon Evans each picked up three hits. Zach Kanaly, Devin Dulmage and Ryan Vollmer produced two-hit games for Morristown (2-1).

MALONE 4, PERU 2

Jake Henning doubled to drive in two runs as the Huskies (2-2) used a four-run second inning to defeat Peru in a nonleague game in Malone.

Conor Casey went 2-for-3 for the Indians (2-3).

GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD

HUSKIES WIN TWICE

Rebekkah Bond won the 200-meter run and the 400 to lead Malone (3-0) to a 184 1/2-133 1/2 triumph over Norwood-Norfolk and a 202-75 win over host Tupper Lake in a double-dual meet. Norwood-Norfolk added a 194-84 win over the Lumberjacks (0-4).

Brianna Hayes won the high jump and long jump to lead the Flyers (4-1).

CANTON STAYS PERFECT

Claire Olin’s two wins helped the Golden Bears (5-0) to a 173-111 victory over Massena and a 176-67 win over Salmon River in a double-dual meet in Massena. The Red Raiders (1-3) defeated Salmon River 180-92, knocking the Shamrocks to 0-2.

Olin won the 200 and long jump for Canton.

GOUVERNEUR TAKES PAIR

Ciara Spicer and Belisena Hall each won two events as Gouverneur (4-1) defeated host Madrid-Waddington 169 1/2-145 1/2 and Clifton-Fine 230-20 in a double-dual meet. Madrid-Waddington added a 206-28 win over the Eagles (0-4).

Spicer won the 100 and 200, and Hall claimed the long jump and triple jump.

Gabrielle Scott led Madrid-Waddington (2-2) with wins in the 400, 800 and 3,000. Hannah Marcellus won the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles for the Yellowjackets.

BOYS TRACK AND FIELD

WILDCATS SWEEP

Jacob Erdman won the 1,600 and 3,200 to lead Gouverneur (5-0) to a 148-92 win over host Madrid-Waddington and a 179-28 win over Clifton-Fine (0-4) in a double-dual meet.

Madrid-Waddington (2-2) defeated the Eagles 164-36.

CANTON TAKES TWO

Bryan Buckley won the 110 and 400 hurdles to send the Golden Bears (4-1) to wins over Salmon River and the Red Raiders in a double-dual meet in Massena.

Canton beat Massena 173-111 and added a 176-67 win over the Shamrocks (0-2). Massena (1-3) topped Salmon River 180-82.

MALONE WINS PAIR

Jamiel Stapleton and Tyler Martin each won two events as the Huskies (3-0) clipped Norwood-Norfolk 145 1/2-94 1/2 and Tupper Lake 175-52 in a double-dual meet in Tupper Lake. The Flyers (4-1) added a 155-63 win over Tupper Lake (0-4).

Stapleton won the 110 hurdles and the high jump and Martin won the 100 and 200.
