AGGRAVATED DWI - BOMBAY - Massena-based state police charged Calvin O. Thomas, 23, of Massena with aggravated driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed him for making a false turn and operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps at 1:40 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on state Route 37 in the town of Bombay. A driving while intoxicated count is elevated to an aggravated DWI charge when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.



RESISTING ARREST - AKWEASNE - Malone-based state police charged Kristian A. Smoke, 21, of Hogansburg with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, third-degree fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and reckless driving and ticketed her for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle, failure to keep right, speeding and an equipment violation - safety glass at 1:45 p.m. Saturday following a chase that ended at 18 Porter Lane, Akwesasne.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - AKWESASNE - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents Saturday around the region. Among those:

■ Willa D. Lebreton, 65, of Cardinal, Ont., and Julia A. Smalley, 56, of Piercefield at 1:22 p.m. in the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino parking lot.
