Recording their second NAC Girls Lacrosse win in two days, Massena Central bested OFA 17-3 on Thursday.

“We are still making some preseason mistakes but we just haven’t been outside that much. But I like the way the younger and older girls are all stepping up,” said Massena Coach Jeff Slack,

“A lot of people are contributing”.

Nine players contributed to the scoring for the Raiders (2-1, 2-0 NAC) against the Blue Devils (0-3).

Shannon Casey led the way with six goals and one assist followed by Courtney Manley (3 goals, 1 assist), Ashlyn Olsen (3 goals), Jacelyn Lazore (1 goal, 2 assists), Devin Kelly (2 goals), Alana Like and Mya Swamp (1 goal, 1 assist) and Tristan Burns and Mia Germano with one assist apiece.

Felicity Love stopped six shots in goal for the Raiders while OFA’s Marissa Foster finished with 16 saves. Kelsi Donaldson scored twice for the Devils (0-3, 0-2 NAC), Mackenzie Bresett netted a single goal and Carly Garrison passed out an assist.
