LISBON — State police on Monday charged Travis S. Cota, 32, of 7005 County Route 10, with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Troopers said that about 10 p.m. on Pray Road, Mr. Cota drove off the road and struck an earth embankment. He had a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent, they said. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.

Mr. Cota was uninjured in the crash. He also was cited with failure to keep right, texting while driving, failure to notify DMV of a change of address and no hands on steering wheel. He was issued tickets for Town Court.
