The Syracuse University men’s lacrosse team stayed at fourth in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll for the second straight week.

The Orange maintained its spot after Saturday’s 15-9 win over in-state rival Hobart.

The top five remained unchanged with Loyola (Md.) first, Duke second, Denver third and Maryland fifth.

Syracuse, which has won five straight, will face Duke at 5 p.m. Friday at Chester, Pa., in the semifinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament.

n The Syracuse women’s lacrosse team strengthened its grip on the No. 1 ranking in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association poll.

The Orange received 220 first-place votes and 391 points, while Maryland is second with 180 first-place votes and 388 points. Syracuse is second in the Brine media poll behind the Terrapins.
