From March 28 to April 1, I was a patient at Samarian Medical Center. I send the highest applause to all who cared for me.
When the ambulance came to take me to the emergency room, I asked for a small special pillow to travel with me. I was moved from the third floor to the fourth floor prior to dismissal.
My small pillow covered with a green and white checked pillowcase didnt make the trip with the rest of my belongings. When our floor nurse called the laundry searching for it, she had no luck.
On the Tuesday before I left, I called the laundry, gave them my patient information, and I was told they would look. Shortly after I arrived home, a call from Sherrill at the laundry said they had found said pillow.
When she learned I lived in Sackets, and she lived in Dexter, she said she should bring it to me. And she did!
Now isnt that a great tribute to SMC and its employees?
