REDWOOD — William R. Frawley, 31, of 28447 County Route 192, was arrested Tuesday afternoon at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on charges of first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony, and second-degree harassment.

State police said Mr. Frawley got into a verbal argument with an unidentified woman that became physical. When Mr. Frawley got mad at the woman, he shoved her, police said.

The woman had a refrain-from order of protection against Mr. Frawley that was violated by the alleged harassment.

He was arrested at 1:06 p.m. and arraigned in Alexandria Town Court. Mr. Frawley then was sent back to the jail on $1,000 cash bail.
