TURIN — Two people were charged Saturday night by state police with one count each of third-degree burglary after they allegedly were caught taking items out of a Carpenter Road house.

Amber T. Finnegan, 21, of Marcy, and John B. Robinson, 52, of Deansboro, were putting the mounted deer heads and other taxidermy items into the truck when the unidentified owner found them at the house at 5358 Carpenter Road, state police said.

They were arraigned in Turin Town Court. Ms. Finnegan was sent to the Lewis County jail, Lowville, on $25,000 bail, while bail was set for $15,000 for Mr. Robinson.
