DEXTER — Cole Johnson totaled seven points, including two goals, and Jake Purvis scored four goals as General Brown edged South Jefferson 10-9 Tuesday night in a Frontier League “B” Division boys lacrosse game.

Purvis scored the eventual game-winning goal with 8 minutes, 36 seconds remaining in regulation for the Lions (4-1 overall, 3-1 league). Goalie Matt Roberts made seven saves, including two in the final minute.

Colton Erb scored two goals for the Lions, and Kyle O’Connor contributed a goal and an assist.

Benner Geursten scored three goals and assisted on three others for South Jefferson (0-3, 0-2), Austin Robare contributed two goals and three assists, and Caleb Alford registered three goals and an assist.

Kyle Wratten finished with 10 saves for the Spartans.

WATERTOWN 20, LOWVILLE 4

Anthony Donato finished with three goals and four assists to spark the host Cyclones to a Frontier League interdivision victory.

Eric Soderquist supplied three goals and three assists, and Noah Taylor contributed one goal and five assists. BradMcKinney and Matt McCormick scored four and three goals, respectively, for Watertown (3-2, 2-1).

Kyle Malik recorded two goals and one assist for Lowville (0-3, 0-2).

GIRLS LACROSSE

CANTON 10, HEUVELTON 7

Mimi Husinec and Rachael Huntley each scored three goals to help lead the Golden Bears during a Northern Athletic Conference game in Canton.

Tess Knight scored two goals, and Lacey Kenny and Laura Wells each supplied single goals for Canton (3-0).

Olivia St. Pierre led Heuvelton (1-2) with five goals. Jackie Sovie and Ashlyn Foster scored single goals.

POTSDAM 13, OFA 0

An eight-goal effort from Annette Rishe helped send the Sandstoners to a shutout victory over the Blue Devils (1-1) in Potsdam.

Kalie Grant registered four goals and three assists for Potsdam (3-0).

Matisyn Beamer also scored for the Sandstoners.

Katelyn Bloom made three saves for Potsdam.
