Howard W. Davis, LaFargeville, passed away April 4, 2014 at Fletcher –Allen Medical Center, Burlington, VT.

Born July 20, 1937 to the late Curtis Davis, Sr. and Ruth Hofferberth Davis in Theresa, NY, he attended local schools.

Howard was a hard worker. He owned a dairy farm in Three Mile Bay for many years and following his retirement he worked for his brother who owned Davis Construction.

He had many hobbies and interests. Howard loved four-wheeling, muscle cars, gardening and cooking. In his younger years he spent time racing snowmobiles and he enjoyed watching them as well. Friends and neighbors brought him many things to work on because he enjoyed tinkering and working on engines of all makes and sizes.

Surviving Howard are his daughter, Debbie Davis and her husband Danny; four grandchildren, Cassidy, Courtney, Chelby and Timothy’s daughter, Lauryn Davis; two step-grandchildren Brandi Cantatore and Travis Davis; one great-granddaughter Paislee; ten step- great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ronald, Curtis Jr., Kevin Davis; one sister, Marion Dickhaut; one Aunt, Laura Hurley; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Timothy in 2009; and four brothers Carson, Milton, Gene and David.

At his request, there will be no calling hours or funeral.

Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa.
