POTSDAM — SUNY Potsdam’s Jordan Ott has been selected as the NCAA Division III women’s hockey rookie of the year by U.S. College Hockey Online.

Ott, also the ECAC West rookie of the year, and an All-SUNYAC second-team player, scored a school-record 22 goals and totaled 36 points for the Bears. She played in 25 of Potsdam’s 26 games and her 1.44 points-per-game average was seventh among Division III players.

Ott, a forward from Hilton, won ECAC West rookie of the week honors eight times.
