LOWVILLE — Richard J. Graham was approved by Lewis County legislators Tuesday to provide legal representation for collective bargaining and other general counsel services at $185 per hour.

Mr. Graham, the former Lewis County attorney, was not reappointed by legislators earlier this year.

Instead, Joan E. McNichol was selected from a pool of eight candidates. She began her duties Monday.

Mr. Graham’s new role will be effective immediately. However, services rendered from April 1 through June 1 will not be charged, according to the contract.

In 2013, Mr. Graham received an annual salary of $101,490.
