CLERMONT, Fla. — The SUNY Potsdam softball team is still looking for its first victory of the season after ending its trip to Florida with a pair of shutout losses.

The Bears (0-10) opened Thursday with a 4-0 loss to Concordia (Wisc.) as Melissa Perkins struck out six. Jordan Ott led the Bears offense, going 2-for-3, including a double.

Elmhurst beat the Bears 10-0 in the second game of the day. Ele Walter went 3-for-3, including a triple, and drove in two runs for Elmhurst. Bella Masini went 2-for-2. Brittany Thivierge went 2-for-2 to lead SUNY Potsdam.
