REDWOOD State police charged Dustin A. Hilts, 29, and Christina A. Dollinger, 30, both of 43654 Route 37, with second-degree burglary after they allegedly took items from a village home.
Police said they took jewelry worth $3,879 and $3,200 in cash from a Farrell Road home.
The two were charged between 8:30 and 8:53 a.m. Friday at their residence. Mr. Hilts was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, on $10,000 bail, while Ms. Dollinger was released with an appearance ticket for Alexandria Town Court.
Mr. Hilts later was charged with a single count of petit larceny in connection to the alleged theft.
