St. Lawrence University’s Laurentian Singers will present a “home concert” in Canton at 8 p.m. Friday after spending spring break on a singing tour in the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. Friday’s concert is in Peterson-Kermani Performance Hall, in Griffiths Arts Center, 23 Romoda Drive, on campus.

The singers will perform a varied program, including the complete Liebeslieder Waltzes, Op. 52, by Johannes Brahms, for chorus and piano duet. Also on the program are contemporary Estonian composer Arvo Pärt’s “Which was the Son of ...,” spiritual arrangements by Moses Hogan and Alice Parker and several classic and contemporary songs such as “Stardust,” “Killing Me Softly,” Kirk Franklin’s “I Smile,” Billy Joel’s “Lullabye” and K’naan’s “Wavin’ Flag.”

The Laurentian Singers is a select coeducational choir of 25 undergraduate singers.

The concert is free and open to the public.
