MASSENA State police charged three men Saturday following an investigation into numerous thefts from cars and burglaries in garages and out-buildings in St. Lawrence County.
Troopers charged Caleb B. Carr, 18, of Lisbon, Nicholas D. Mallory, 18, of Lisbon, and Dylan P. Thivierge, 18, of Madrid, with second-degree burglary, three counts of third-degree burglary and one count of fifth-degree conspiracy. Mr. Carr was additionally charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
The three allegedly took various items such as propane tanks, gas cans, returnable bottles and cans and some articles of clothing from Lisbon, Madrid, Waddington, Louisville and Chase Mills between October and January.
All three were arraigned in Waddington Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
State police said they think the trio may have been involved in other thefts. Anyone in the towns where the alleged burglaries occurred who thinks they might have been victimized or has information about the crimes is asked to contact state police in Massena at 769-8406.
