Watertown man faces criminal mischief, other charges

Randall J. Bell III, 22, of 614 Franklin St., was charged by city police Sunday morning with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment, a violation.

Police said he intentionally broke a door at 550 Factory St., Apt. C, about 3 a.m. Saturday. He also allegedly broke a window on the front door of a building at 1620 Huntington St., causing about $300 in damage, unlawfully entered the apartment of Cheri L. Jewett, Apt. S2, and punched her in the stomach on Aug. 7.

He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
