UTICA — Jennifer Hamel stopped 23 shots to lead fourth-seeded Utica College (17-8-1) to a 4-1 victory over SUNY Potsdam in the ECAC West women’s hockey quarterfinals Sunday afternoon at the Utica Auditorium.

Senior captain Brittany Lucky scored for the Bears (12-10-4) in the final game of her collegiate career.

Lucky and classmates Jessica Silveira, Amanda Lucky and Jenn Crawford led SUNY Potsdam to a program-best 44 wins in a four-year span and each rank in the program’s top six for career points.
