WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Dayton Demonz scored four first-period goals as they beat the Watertown Privateers, 7-5, a Federal Hockey League game Saturday night at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Jesse Felten scored two and added an assist and Brett Wall generated three points, including two assists, for Dayton (30-13), which took over first place in the FHL with the victory. August Aiken and Casey Mignone each dished out two assists for the Demonz.

Britt Ouellette and Ray Tremblay each supplied two goals and an assist for Watertown (16-27). Dane Erickson added a goal and two assists, while Brent Sands and Beni Berisha each generated two assists.

The Privateers return home to take on the Danville Dashers 5:05 p.m. today at the Watertown Municipal Ice Arena.
