LAFARGEVILLE Nicole Lynn Fitchette and Justin Robbins Hotis, both of Clayton, were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 21 at St. Johns Catholic Church with Deacon Gary Frank officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kim and Kimberly Fitchette, LaFargeville. The groom is the son and stepson of Jean and Steve Side, Plessis, and son of Dan Hotis, Pierrepont Manor.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a lace-over-organza, fit-and-flare gown with beaded soutache detailing, a champagne and white jeweled waist sash and a chapel-length train in soft white. Her elbow-length veil was attached to a jeweled hair clip of pearls and lace. She carried a clutch bridal bouquet of white hydrangeas, green hypericum berries and nigella pods with green and brown natural elements, bound with white satin with brown bark accent. Included in the bouquet were two hanging pictures of her grandparents.
A tented reception at L.A. Golf Course, Clayton, followed the ceremony.
Tiffany Fitchette, LaFargeville, was her sisters maid of honor. Courtney Kirkby, LaFargeville, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jordan Sanford, Madison Staie Dinsmore and Megan Bristol, all of LaFargeville, and Rachel Lowe, Hammond. Cara Dominie and Hailey Perkins, both of LaFargeville and cousins of the bride, were greeters and helpers at the wedding and reception.
Tucker Sanford, LaFargeville, cousin of the groom, and Troy Beach, LaFargeville, were best men. Groomsmen were Damon Kirkby, LaFargeville, and Garet Plantz, Dave Roberts and Jameson Wills, all of Alexandria Bay.
Ms. Fitchette graduated with honors in 2007 from LaFargeville Central School, attended SUNY Potsdam for one year and graduated in 2010 from Jefferson Community College, Watertown. She attended Jefferson/Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services adult cosmetology program and is a hairstylist at Creative Edge Salon, Clayton.
Mr. Hotis graduated with honors from Alexandria Central School, Alexandria Bay, in 2002. He is employed by Jordstat Construction, Alexandria Bay.
The couple resides in Clayton.
