DAYTON, Ohio — Ahmed Mahfouz scored the deciding goal four minutes, nine seconds into overtime to lift the Dayton Demonz past the Watertown Privateers, 7-6 on Saturday night in a Federal Hockey League game at Hara Arena.

Robert Vanwynsberghe totaled four points, including two goals for the Demonz (28-12), Jesse Felten scored twice and Mahfouz finished with two goals and an assist.

Britt Ouellette recorded five points, including four assists, for the Privateers (15-25).

Watertown player/coach Brent Clarke and Ray Tremblay each contributed two goals and an assist. Bryan Kalczynski made 48 saves for the Privateers, who are scheduled to play their fourth road game in as many days when they play at Danville at 6:05 tonight.
