A Three Mile Bay man gave a false name to police when he was arrested for allegedly possessing heroin and cocaine Friday night, according to city police.
Jordan J. Savage, 23, of 27892 Three Mile Point Road, was arrested at Kinney Drugs, 905 Coffeen St., after nine glassine envelopes containing heroin and a knotted plastic baggie containing cocaine allegedly were found under the front passenger seat of a vehicle he had been sitting in.
Police said Mr. Savage identified himself to officers as 22-year-old Jacob D. Savage, to keep them from knowing his identity and arresting him on six active warrants out of Jefferson County Court.
He was arrested at 8:58 p.m. and charged with second-degree criminal impersonation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and held on $2,000 cash bail. He is to answer the charges in City Court.
