Jefferson Community College orchestra and wind ensemble will be joined by the Watertown High School wind ensemble for a community concert at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the colleges Sturtz Theater.
The orchestra and wind ensemble, comprised of area musicians and community members of all ages, is under the baton of conductor Daniel L. Mosher, Carthage, and the high school students under the baton of high school band Director Andrea Wischerath.
The show will feature both groups presenting their own performances and then combining on-stage to perform two selections together.
The colleges orchestra and wind ensembles are credit-bearing humanities courses open to anyone. Community members not seeking college credit may join by registering with the colleges continuing education division, 786-2438.
