GOUVERNEUR State police on Tuesday charged Justin L. Chalupa, 23, of 51 Williams St., with driving while intoxicated.
At about 12:38 a.m. on Route 11, troopers said they stopped Mr. Chalupa while following up on a property dispute complaint and found him to be under the influence of alcohol. A breath test taken at the police barracks showed that Mr. Chalupa allegedly had a 0.12 percent blood alcohol content. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes proof of intoxication.
Mr. Chalupa was issued an appearance ticket for Town Court.
