POTSDAM — John Coleman scored 27 points to lead the Clarkson University men’s basketball team to a 73-48 win over St. Lawrence University in a Liberty League game on Tuesday.

Marques Charlton and Felix Abongo each scored 14 points for the Golden Knights (14-9 overall, 8-6 conference).

Kyle Edwards, Kyle Kobis and Brady Condlin each scored nine points for the Saints (9-14, 5-9).

SUNY PLATTSBURGH 76, SUNY POTSDAM 61

Ezra Hodgson tallied 18 points to send SUNY Plattsburgh (19-4, 13-3) past the Bears in a SUNYAC game in Potsdam.

Edward Correa and Shavar Fields each scored 11 points for the Cardinals.

Zac Adams led SUNY Potsdam (4-19, 2-14) with 13 points.

Brandon Williams scored 12 and Tom Graf tallied 11.

JEFFERSON CC 70, BROOME CC 43

Damien Jackson accounted for 21 points as the host Cannoneers concluded their season with a Mid-State Athletic Conference victory.

Kenny Thomas supplied 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Dustin Pond recorded 12 points and 16 rebounds. Ryan Tomlin added 12 points for JCC (8-16, 4-8).

Adam Tillotson scored 10 points for Broome CC (12-15, 3-9).

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

ST. LAWRENCE 65, CLARKSON 59 (OT)

Kara McDuffee and Caroline Dalton each scored 16 points as the Saints (16-7, 12-2) defeated Clarkson in overtime in a Liberty League contest in Potsdam.

SLU had a 16-10 edge in the extra period to claim the win.

Lauren Quattrocchi scored 13 points and Cassie St. Hilaire added 11 for SLU.

Brooke Butkovsky scored 17 points to lead the Golden Knights (8-14, 3-11) and Ashley Loggins tossed in 15.

SUNY PLATTSBURGH 88, SUNY POTSDAM 79

Kathleen Payne scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead SUNY Plattsburgh (18-5, 13-3) past the Bears in a SUNYAC game in Potsdam.

Devona Paul scored 16 points and Brooke Reifinger added 14 for the Cardinals. Former Malone standout Brittany Marshall provided 13 assists.

Jessica Kouzan scored 23 points to pace SUNY Potsdam (6-17, 4-12). Bailey Weigel scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Carli Reynolds scored 14 points and Chenice Russell added 11.

SUNYIT 68, SUNY CANTON 49

Lauren Knowles scored 18 points and Abbey Hanehan tossed in 15 to lead SUNYIT (18-5) past the Kangaroos in a nonconference game in Canton.

Brianna Sayer led SUNY Canton (6-17) with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Karyss Terrance added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

JEFFERSON CC 78, BROOME CC 48

Jasmine Canady poured in 23 points to spark the Cannoneers to a Mid-State Athletic Conference victory over the Hornets at JCC.

Alyssa Crosby finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds, and Kathleen Coloney contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds for JCC (18-5, 10-2).

Danielle Conway and Randi Conway scored 25 and 21 points, respectively, for Broome CC (3-21, 2-10).
