CANTON - St. Lawrence County Office of Emergency Services is warning travelers to take precautionary measures if they are inclined to travel due to limited road visibility.

Road conditions throughout the county are snow-covered with visibility of a half mile.

Snowfall is expected to continue until early afternoon, and while road crews are out clearing the roads, Emergency Services Director Michael J. LeCuyer said winds are anticipated to increase, creating drifting snow and continued visibility concerns.

There are no specific travel restrictions implemented by the county at this time, but Mr. LeCuyer is asking that people use good judgment and limit travel as much as possible.
