Jordan Ott of SUNY Potsdam’s women’s hockey team was honored for the sixth time as Eastern College Athletic Conference rookie of the week, the league announced Monday.

Ott tallied two goals and three assists for five points in a two-game weekend sweep of Buffalo State, helping the Bears clinch a playoff berth for the third straight season. Ott’s 17 goals this season tie Potsdam’s single-season record.

Also from SUNY Potsdam, men’s hockey player Billy Pascalli has been named as SUNYAC player of the week.

Pascalli registered a five-point weekend, including two goals and three assists, as the Bears kept their playoff hopes alive with a pair of ties last weekend.
