OGDENSBURG — The Ogdensburg Free Academy boys basketball team used a dominant first quarter to produced an 86-40 victory over Massena in a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game Friday night.

The Blue Devils (16-1 overall, 13-0 division) built a 34-3 lead after one quarter.

Matt Piercey scored 20 points and added eight steals for OFA. Kinnon LaRose scored 18 points and added 12 steals, and Colin Ross scored 16 points with seven steals. Jack Menke scored 13 points for OFA.

Logan Deshane led Massena (13-4, 11-2) with 10 points.

POTSDAM 60, GOUVERNEUR 32

Nick Vaccaro scored 16 points to lift the Sandstoners past the Wildcats (6-11, 3-10) in a Central Division game in Gouverneur.

Jake Mitchell added 10 points for Potsdam (9-9, 7-7). Dustin Hutton led Gouverneur with 10 points.

SALMON RIVER 60, CANTON 49

A 21-point game from Josh Hynes helped the Shamrocks (8-7, 6-7) defeat the Golden Bears in a Central Division game in Fort Covington.

Antoine Domino scored 15 points for Salmon River. Louden Porter led Canton (7-10, 4-10) with 19 points.

MALONE 58, ST. LAWRENCE 32

Alex Johnson scored 13 points to send the Huskies (14-4, 10-4) past the Larries in a Central Division game in Malone.

Jordan Yando scored 11 points and Austin Lamay added 10.

Shane Fuentes led the Larries (2-16, 0-14) with 12 points.

LISBON 39, HARRISVILLE 33

Jake Putney boosted Lisbon (13-4, 10-2) with a 16-point effort in a win over the Harrisville in a West Division game in Harrisville.

Jimmy Robinson scored 15 points for Lisbon. Brendan Best led the Pirates (11-7, 9-5) with 11 points.

HEUVELTON 50, HERMON-DEKALB 37

Michael Martin’s 20 points sent the Bulldogs (9-8, 8-4) past the Demons in a West Division game in DeKalb Junction.

Cody Merritt led the Demons (3-15, 2-12) with 17 points.

MORRISTOWN 55, HAMMOND 35

Morristown (12-3, 11-3) outscored Hammond 34-15 in the second and third quarters to claim a West Division victory in Hammond.

Ryan Vollmer scored 15 points and Zach Kanaly added 11 for Morristown. Zech Cunningham scored nine points for Hammond (4-14, 3-11).

EDWARDS-KNOX 63, CLIFTON-FINE 41

Kaden Dandrow scored 30 points to send the Cougars (12-6, 10-4) to a West Division victory in Russell.

Abe White scored 11 points and San Pharoah added 10 for Edwards-Knox. Chase Koster led the Eagles (1-15, 1-3) with 18 points and Jake Folsom scored 12.

BRUSHTON-MOIRA 62, MADRID-WADDINGTON 56

Adam Martin’s 19 points helped Parishville-Hopkinton (9-7, 7-5) win an East Division game in Brushton.

Alex Burnett scored 14 points with 11 rebounds, and Taylor Tallman added 15 for Brushton-Moira.

T.J. Gagnon paced Madrid-Waddington (8-9, 7-6) with 17 points. Jacob Barney scored 16 and Zach Brock added 14.

ST. REGIS FALLS 53, COLTON-PIERREPONT 27

Corey LaBounty scored 17 points and Brandon Votra added 11 as the Saints (17-0, 13-0) defeated the Colts in an East Division game in St. Regis Falls. Zach Farr scored 10 points for the Colts (6-12, 4-10).

CHATEAUGAY 71, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 23

Owen Henderson led Chateaugay (11-6, 10-3) with 12 points in an East Division victory in Norwood.

Dustin Fisher paced the Flyers (3-15, 2-13) with 11 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

CANTON 66, SALMON RIVER 42

The Golden Bears (14-3, 12-2) opened with a 22-5 first quarter to win a Central Division game in Canton. Kali Frank led Canton with 12 points and Rachel Sanderson added 10.

Jaden Mitchell led Salmon River (4-10, 4-9) with 16 points and Taylor Francis scored 15.

LISBON 57, HARRISVILLE 43

Alex Amo scored 17 points and Maddie Vine added 16 as the Golden Knights won a West Division game in Lisbon. Jackie Sovie added 13 points for Lisbon (9-8, 5-6).

Mallory Baker led the Pirates (2-12, 1-10) with 11 points.

CHATEAUGAY 45, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 23

Hannah Cook’s 14-point effort helped Chateaugay (15-3, 13-1) defeat Norwood-Norfolk in an East Division game in Norwood. Hannah Seguin scored eight points for the Flyers (3-12, 3-10).

IHC 38, SOUTH LEWIS 21

Anna Garrabrant produced 13 points, including four 3-pointers, to help guide the Cavaliers to a nonleague victory at Turin.

Elena Alteri added 11 points for Immaculate Heart Central (5-12).

South Lewis is 3-15.

HOCKEY

MASSENA 3, BEEKMANTOWN 3 (OT)

Wyatt Wilmshurst scored with 3 minutes, 46 seconds left in regulation to lift Massena (13-4-1) to a tie with Section 7’s Beekmantown in a Massena Tournament game. Pelham defeated Salmon River 6-2 in the other game.

Patrick Manning and Tyler Young also scored for the Red Raiders.

Brendon Davison scored two goals for Beekmantown and Nathan Foster also scored.

WEST GENESEE 3, IHC 1

The Wildcats used a pair of power play goals to beat the Cavaliers in a Section 3 Division I American Conference game in Camillus.

Ryan McDonald handed out a pair of assists for West Genesee (19-0-1, 12-0-1).

David Brancheau scored, and Cole James made 32 saves for Immaculate Heart Central (13-7, 8-5).

WRESTLING

GOUVERNEUR 46, MASSENA 32

The Wildcats captured nine of 15 weight classes, four by pinfall, to secure a Northern Athletic Conference victory at Gouverneur.

Jacob Beckwith (220 pounds), Justin Garrison (182), Joey Love (152) and Joey Bush (126) recorded pins for Gouverneur (10-2, 7-0).

Nolan Terrance (285), Hunter Perrine (170) and Austin Amo (145) won by pin for Massena (10-3, 6-2).
