HEUVELTON Logan Tallman made a shot from just inside the 3-point line with 8.1 seconds left to give the Heuvelton girls basketball team a 44-43 win over Hermon-DeKalb in an Northern Athletic Conference West Division game on Thursday.
Olivia St. Pierre paced Heuvelton (15-2 overall, 10-2 division) with 12 points and nine rebounds. Bridget Rust led the Demons (14-2, 11-1) with 17 points and Courtney Harrington added 13 points and 10 rebounds.
MADRID-WADDINGTON 50, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 36
Tess Knight and Olivia Parmeter each scored 14 points to help Madrid-Waddington (13-3, 11-1) knock off the Panthers in an East Division game in Brushton.

OFA used a 24-10 run in the third quarter to come back from a one-point halftime deficit and defeat the Red Raiders (4-12, 3-9) in a Central Division contest in Massena.
Riley Luckie led the Blue Devils (11-6, 9-4) with 23 points. Bailie Young topped Massena with 13 points.

Jake VanArnam led five Green Rocket players in double figures with 17 points in a West Division win over Edwards-Knox in Russell.
