HEUVELTON — A strong fourth quarter helped the Hammond girls basketball team produced a 46-42 victory over Heuvelton in a Northern Athletic Conference West Division game Thursday night.

Heuvelton (12-2 overall, 8-2 division) led 29-23 after three quarters but Hammond (10-5, 7-2) outscored Heuvelton 23-13 in the final eight minutes to earn the win.

Courtney Bova led Hammond with 16 points, and Cassi Whalen scored 15.

Maddie St. Pierre paced Heuvelton with 16 points.

HERMON-DEKALB 80, HARRISVILLE 18

Bridget Rust scored 20 points and added five steals to lead the Demons past the Pirates (2-9, 1-8) in a West Division game in DeKalb Junction.

Hunter Hitchman added 17 points and six steals for Hermon-DeKalb (12-1, 10-0), and Paige Whitton scored 11 points with 10 steals. Kasey O’Donnell passed for 10 assists for the Demons.

LISBON 52, EDWARDS-KNOX 39

A 13-point effort from Maddie Vine helped the Golden Knights (7-7, 4-5) past the Cougars in a West Division game in Lisbon.

Beth Crowley scored 11 points for Lisbon with Jackie Sovie adding 10. Kate Smith led the Cougars (2-10, 1-9) with 15 points.

MADRID-WADDINGTON 52, TUPPER LAKE 19

Olivia Parmeter scored 12 points to help the Yellowjackets knock off the Lumberjacks (3-11, 2-9) in an East Division game in Tupper Lake.

Tess Knight and Desiree Pryce each scored eight points for the Yellowjackets (11-3, 9-1).

PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 50, ST. REGIS FALLS 31

Miranda Collins scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Panthers past the Saints (3-7) in an East Division game in Parishville.

Nicole White and Kodi Perkins each produced 10 points for the Panthers (4-7).

ST. LAWRENCE 49, MASSENA 32

Lindsay Thayer led the Larries with 12 points in a Central Division victory over the Red Raiders (4-10, 3-7) in Massena.

Bailee Gauthier and Jenna Kessner each added nine points for the Larries (9-5, 6-4).

MALONE 51, POTSDAM 20

A 16-point effort from Morgan Fountain helped the Huskies (13-1, 10-0) past the Sandstoners in a Central Division game in Potsdam.

Sarah Vivlamore led the Sandstoners (1-14, 0-11) with 10 points.

GOUVERNEUR 61, SALMON RIVER 49

Four Wildcats reached double figures in a Central Division win over the Shamrocks (4-6, 4-5) in Fort Covington.

Danielle Bullock led Gouverneur (5-9, 2-8) with 14 points. Rebecca Bulsiewicz tallied 13 and Jessica Rotundo and Alisha Way each scored 12.

Taylor Francis led Salmon River with 15 points and Jaden Mitchell tossed in 11.

LOWVILLE 41, IHC 38

Emma St. Croix led all scorers with 14 points and recorded seven rebounds, four assists and three steals as the Red Raiders prevailed in a Frontier League interdivision game in Lowville.

Alexa Yousey contributed 12 points along with four rebounds two assists and four steals for Lowville (3-11, 2-11). Teammate Alexis Bach totaled 11 points, 12 rebounds, one block and five steals.

Anna Garrabrant scored eight points for IHC (3-10, 2-9).

SOUTH JEFFERSON 61, SOUTH LEWIS 22

Marisa Clark scored 14 points as the Spartans won a crossover game at Turin.

Austin Stevens registered 11 points and nine rebounds for South Jefferson (12-0).

Alexis Olmstead netted 12 points for South Lewis (3-10).

LYME 48, SACKETS HARBOR 37

Yanna Ososkalo poured in 29 points and totaled six steals and four assists as the Indians prevailed in a “D” Division game in Chaumont.

Enesa Ososkalo registered seven rebounds and five steals along with nine points for Lyme (11-3, 7-3) and Emily Ennis recorded 10 rebounds, five blocks and three steals.

Jenna Fields scored 16 points to pace the Patriots (5-9, 5-6).

BOYS BASKETBALL

HARRISVILLE 46, HAMMOND 13

Tim Fowler produced 15 points in the Pirates’ Northern Athletic Conference West Division victory in Harrisville.

Brendan Best added 14 points for Harrisville (9-6, 7-4).

Hammond is 4-11, 3-9.

GOUVERNEUR 43, ST. LAWRENCE 33 (OT)

The Wildcats (5-9, 2-8) outscored the Larries 12-2 in overtime to pick up a Central Division win in Brasher Falls.

Curt LaPlant led Gouverneur with 14 points and Dustin Hutton added 12.

Cody Meacham and Bradley Francis each scored nine points for the Larries (2-13, 0-11).

SOUTH JEFFERSON 48, SOUTH LEWIS 47

Bobby Lees generated 14 points and seven rebounds and hit a pair of free throws with 10 seconds remaining as the Spartans gained a crossover victory in Adams. Benner Geurtsen added eight points for South Jefferson (6-7).

For the Falcons, Jason Martin finished with 20 points, seven assists and six steals. Shawn Loomis scored 11 points, and Matt Mooney grabbed 10 rebounds for South Lewis (11-2, 10-2).

IHC 78, LOWVILLE 51

Jude Whalen scored 14 points to lead a balanced effort as the Cavaliers downed the Red Raiders in a crossover game at IHC.

Jake Fusilli and Robin Massey added 13 points each for IHC (12-3, 9-2), which led 22-10 through the first quarter built a 48-27 lead by halftime.

Brian O’Connor scored a game-high 23 points to lead Lowville (3-12) and Kyle Malik contributed 15 points.

SANDY CREEK 70, GENERAL BROWN 52

Zach Halsey scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Comets cruised to a crossover triumph in Dexter.

Tyler Swarthout contributed 17 points for Sandy Creek (13-2, 12-2) and Reis Harding scored 12 points. Matt Reese totaled 12 rebounds along with eight points for Sandy Creek.

Cole Johnson scored 12 points to lead the Lions (3-11).

THOUSAND ISLANDS 82, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 30

Christian Shaw connected for 20 points to help guide the Vikings to a crossover victory at Clayton.

Teddy Ebbing provided 17 points and 12 rebounds. Eli Baldwin scored 13 points, and Nick Nevala added 12 points for Thousand Islands (8-6, 8-5).

Colton Ramsdell scored 10 points for Belleville Henderson (1-13, 1-12).

SACKETS HARBOR 66, ALEXANDRIA 28

Eric Chrostowski netted 16 points as the Patriots secured a “D” Division victory at Alexandria Bay.

Ryan Allen produced 11 points and 10 rebounds for Sackets Harbor (12-2, 11-1).

Nik Shangraw scored nine points for Alexandria (2-11, 1-11).

LYME 74, LAFARGEVILLE 47

Troy Wilson poured in 38 points as the Indians downed the Red Knights in a “D” Division contest at LaFargeville.

Timmy Morrow provided 14 points for Lyme (8-6, 8-5).

Matt Valin scored 16 points for LaFargeville (3-12, 3-10).

WRESTLING

GOUVERNEUR 49, CANTON 15

The Wildcats used four pins to defeat the Golden Bears (1-5) in Canton.

Aaron Bush (138 pounds), Zach Ayen (145), Mason Wing (286) and Derrick Stowell (120) won by pin for Gouverneur (9-2, 6-0). T.J. Lumbard (220) won by pin for Canton.

MASSENA 64, MALONE 11

Nathan Marshall (113 pounds) and Skyler Cameron (120) won by pin to help the Red Raiders (10-2, 6-1) defeat the Huskies in Malone.

Chris Recore (99) won by pin for the Huskies (1-11, 0-6).

HOCKEY

IHC 4, FULTON 3 (OT)

Jake Renzi scored the winning goal 16 seconds into overtime to lift the host Cavaliers to a Section 3 Division I victory.

Jared Pignone finished with two goals, and Jordan Trudeau and Sean Shepard each recorded two assists. Cole James made 18 saves for Immaculate Heart Central (10-5, 6-4).

Bryce Knight recorded one goal and one assist for Fulton (2-15-1, 0-10-1).
